Once the home of a longstanding PGA Tour event, this Dallas-area club now sports a new, nationwide appeal.
The Nelson Golf and Sports Club is spreading its wings. Kingdom Magazine just featured the Irving, Texas club, spotlighting the launch of its new National Membership offering. The membership leans into The Nelson’s history as longtime host of the PGA Tour’s Byron Nelson Classic, paired with its relationship to the adjacent The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. Dallas, Las Colinas. Just 10 minutes from DFW International Airport, it’s a natural stay-and-play fit for Members traveling to Dallas-Fort Worth.
Since Century Golf Partners and HKI America acquired the club in 2022, nearly $20 million has gone into upgrades, including a renovated clubhouse, a Trackman-equipped driving range, and Byron’s, the club’s newly refreshed bar and grill.
