Led by a team of passionate partners, Century Golf’s senior management has worked together for over thirty years, including veterans from some of the most well-known names in golf management. The leadership team has owned and managed numerous club and golf companies and operated over 500 golf clubs worldwide.

Jim Hinckley

Century Golf Partners Founder & CEO

Jim is one of the most experienced executives. in the private club, resort, and golf management industry. He served as president of ClubCorp until 2002, at which point he joined in the formation of WMC Management Company with Olympus Real Estate Partners. In 2005, Jim acquired WMC and formed Century Golf Partners acquired the Arnold Palmer Golf Management (APGM) brand. Jim serves on the boards of the National Golf Course Owners Association of America; American Junior Golf Association; American Golf Industry Coalition and a past member of the PGA. Jim is a National Trustee for the First Tee and a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Additionally, he serves on the boards at the Baylor Scott and White Hospital Foundation, Outlive Yourself Foundation, and the Children’s Center for Self Esteem. Jim attended Southern Methodist University and California State University and earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1978.

Doug Howe

Partner & COO

Joining Century Golf Partners as a partner in 2008, Doug serves as the company’s COO and leads business development. He has developed the company’s global club networks and golf entertainment divisions. Prior to Century Golf, he served in a variety of positions over a 33-year career with ClubCorp. Starting as a busboy, he worked in numerous supervisory and management roles from general manager to EVP of domestic and international operations. He also headed up the business development and real estate divisions, which included the sale of ClubCorp in 2006. During his career, he has been responsible for overseeing over 300 country clubs, resorts, city/sports/stadium clubs and public golf courses. Doug served on the National Club Association Board of Directors (past Chairman) and served on several industry boards and committees including the NGCOA Advisory Board.

Greg Adair

Partner

Greg previously spent 16 years in the real estate and investment banking sectors, primarily serving in transactional and capital markets roles. He continues with that focus for Century through his involvement in the firm's transactional activities as well as its relationships with various financial partners. Over his career, Greg has been involved in the acquisition and capitalization of approximately 75 public and private golf courses across the U.S.

Prior to joining Century, Greg was a partner with the real estate private equity firm Olympus Real Estate Partners. Greg was responsible for acquisition underwriting, portfolio management and disposition of golf, single family residential, multi-family residential and commercial investments for Olympus. Investments previously managed by Greg on behalf of the Olympus Funds had an aggregate capitalization of approximately $2.5 billion. Prior to joining Olympus, Greg spent three years in corporate finance with a Dallas investment bank. Greg also served as an asset manager with FGB Realty Advisors, a wholly owned subsidiary of MacAndrews & Forbes Financial Service Group which managed a $3 billion portfolio of real estate assets owned by the RTC, FDIC and First Gibraltar Bank. Greg received a BBA from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from The University of Texas.

Peter Ueberroth

Partner

Peter Ueberroth is a partner with Century Golf Partners and Managing Director of Contrarian Group, an investment and management firm. He is also co-owner and former co-chair of the Pebble Beach Company. Ueberroth founded First Travel Corporation, which became North America’s second-largest travel company, and later served as President of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee, leading the highly successful 1984 Summer Olympics. He was named Time Magazine’s Man of the Year in 1984 and served as Commissioner of Major League Baseball from 1984 to 1989. Ueberroth has served on several corporate boards, including The Coca-Cola Company. He holds a business degree from San Jose State University and has received 12 honorary degrees.

Mike is a 38-year Private Club Industry veteran. Joined Century Golf Partners/Arnold Palmer Golf Management in 2005 after 10 years with American Golf Corporation. Mike is Senior Vice President of Operations supporting our portfolio of Member Equity and Privately Owned Private Clubs.

Jimmy Han

Executive Vice President, Operations & Business Development

Jimmy has over 30 years of experience in the Golf & Country Club industry, previously holding leadership roles with ClubCorp, American Golf, and KemperSports prior to joining Century Golf Partners in 2018. His background spans daily fee courses, private clubs, and tour-hosting clubs. Internationally, he served as President of Nicklaus China and was a Partner at One Club Limited, providing turnkey golf services including design, development, executive planning and management consulting services across Asia. Jimmy holds a B.S. in Accounting from Cal Poly Pomona.

Melissa McKibben

Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Melissa is responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership in all aspects of the human resources function and establishing a vision and direction for the full complement of core human capital programs, policies, and services. She began her career with Century Golf in 2006.

Bryan Stromme

Senior Vice President, Agronomy

Bryan is responsible for Century Golf Partner’s agronomic division focusing on talent development, the business of agronomy, technology, education and strategic planning. He has been involved with corporate golf for over 25 years, including regional agronomic and national account sales roles. His work experience covers some of the largest global companies in golf management, housing community development and irrigation manufacturing.

Eric has served as the Chief Accounting Officer since May 2022 and is responsible for all accounting matters including reporting, general accounting, A/R, A/P and treasury. Prior to joining Century Golf, he spent 14 years with American Golf where he held multiple accounting and finance roles.
