It's a day worth pausing for; not just because Mr. Palmer's name is on our company, but because of what he stood for and how we aspire to honor his legacy. He lived by the Golden Rule: treat others the way you want to be treated. No exceptions, no shortcuts. That's not a slogan; it's our standard.

Today is International Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day, now in its sixth year as a global event supported by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America! Every fairway, green and bunker our teams present to members and guests reflects the work of a superintendent and crew who are out on the course before sunrise and back after dark, in every season and every condition. The hard work of our grounds crew at Legends Golf Resort was captured in this short video, by Golf Tourism Solutions in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Piper is a new par-3 walking course designed by Ken Baker and built around a simple idea: golf should be social, fun and easy to enjoy with friends. Named for the wandering musicians of Scottish folklore, The Piper brings something entirely new to the Grand Strand. It marks the first step in an expanded golf and entertainment experience taking shape at Legends Golf Resort.

In this newly created role, Andrew joins our acquisition team, sourcing acquisitions, leases, joint ventures, and management opportunities with private clubs, golf courses, and resorts nationwide. He comes to us from Prescott Group, where he served as Director of Acquisitions, with prior experience at Goldman Sachs' Global Markets Division. "Andrew has spent his career finding deals other people overlook, then having the discipline to close the transaction," said Doug Howe, Partner and COO. "That combination is rare, and it's exactly what our next phase of growth requires."

Spreading Its Wings. Once the home of a longstanding PGA Tour event, this Dallas-area club now sports a new, nationwide appeal. For 35 years, the TPC Las Colinas course at the Nelson Golf & Sports Club (previously the Four Seasons Golf & Sports Club) hosted the PGA Tour’s Byron Nelson Classic. It’s been almost a decade since the tournament was contested there in Irving, Texas; and yet, in that time, the club—and its marquee course—has only grown stronger.

When Arnold Palmer Golf Management took the reins in March, a deliberate choice was made to prioritize course conditions over calendar pressure. That patience paid off, when the club celebrated with a ribbon cutting alongside the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, complete with a bagpiper to set the tone. The ceremony was made even more special by the presence of two valued community alliance partners, First Tee of Sarasota/Manatee and Folds of Honor, and a special thank you goes to Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy for raising a glass to mark the occasion.

Disney's Magnolia Golf Course just gave golfers another reason to look forward to the back nine. A brand-new Grumpy statue now stands guard at the entrance to Grumpy's Gauntlet, the four-hole stretch (holes 14–17) that has quickly earned a reputation as one of the most demanding finishes in Central Florida.
